Dr. Williams was born in Crawfordsville, Indiana and raised in Dallas, Texas. He attended North Texas State University in Denton, Texas for his pre-dental education, and graduated in 1980. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1984. At that time he was awarded a certificate by the Southwest Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons for his achievement as a senior dental student. Following graduation, Dr. Williams was selected for a one-year post-graduate fellowship in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Baylor College of Dentistry. He then completed a one-year research associateship with the Department of Anesthesiology at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas. Dr. Williams completed a four-year residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston.
Dr. Williams joined Northwest Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 1990. Presently, Dr. Williams is licensed to practice oral and maxillofacial surgery in the state of Texas.
Dr. Williams is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Southwest Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Texas Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Houston Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. He is also board certified as a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He, his wife Kelli, and children reside in The Woodlands, Texas.
