Meet Dr. M. James Clark
Dr. M. James Clark is a native Texan, born and raised in Lampasas, Texas. His pre-dental education was completed at the University of Texas at Austin. He then attended the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio for his dental education. Dr. Clark graduated third in his class and was a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon honor society. Following graduation, Dr. Clark was an officer in the United States Air Force for three years. He completed one year of general practice residency while in the United States Air Force. Following his honorable discharge, Dr. Clark returned to the University of Texas Health Science Center for his formal training in oral and maxillofacial surgery.
Dr. Clark became board certified in May of 1983. He was in private practice in Arlington, Texas for two years. Dr. Clark joined Northwest Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, P.C. in July 1983. Dr. Clark is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Assocation, Brazos Valley District Dental Society, American Assocation of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Texas Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Houston Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and is a Fellow of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. Dr. Clark has served as an examiner for seven years, on the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, from 1999 until 2006. He and his wife Brenda, live in the Woodlands, Texas.
