Meet Dr. Cecil Shrewsberry

Dr. Shrewsberry was born in Naples, Italy on a U.S. Naval base and grew up in Lake Charles, Louisiana. He obtained his undergraduate degree from McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Louisiana and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. Following graduation, Dr. Shrewsberry completed a one-year post-graduate internship in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Louisiana State University and Charity Hospital of New Orleans. He then completed a six-year residency program in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the Texas Medical Center in conjunction with the University of Texas and Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. During this program he received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Texas Health Science Center Medical School at Houston. After obtaining his medical degree, he completed a one year General Surgical Internship at the University of Texas, Houston affiliated hospitals.

Dr. Shrewsberry maintains an active dental and medical license within the state of Texas and is certified in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and Advanced Trauma Life Support. Dr. Shrewsberry joined Northwest Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, P.C. in July, 2010. He and his wife Bethany live in The Woodlands, Texas.
